SHE is nervous and bit excited to. Nervous because today all are waiting for a family who came to see her. On a right time they arrived. Her uncle and aunt welcome them. Boy came with his parents. He is the only son of the family. Her aunt called her out and she sat with them. Secretly she tried to raise her lashes just to get the glimpse of him. Her grandmother officially introduced her with the family and finally she got a chance to see him. He was smiling at her,so she to passed a warm smile.

 

 

 
All are talking but both are silent. He signals his mother and she demands of their meeting in alone. She belongs from a very traditional family. Though her grandmother don’t like the idea very much but her uncle agrees and called his daughter. She took both to her room,where they talked freely. She left both alone.

 

 

 
She was already nervous but now it mixed with little fear and little curiosity. Curiosity to know more about him. He saw her silent so he thought to initiate. He coughed to gain her attention. “Hi.. ”

 

 

 
She tilted and replied in a meek voice. “Hi.”

 

 

 
“So tell me something about yourself.” He asked to know about her.

 

 

 
She told him about her education and interest. “Can I ask about you?”

 

 

 

“Yes of course and it’s your right to.” He to share little information about him. Both start talking and gradually get comfortable. Both are simple so easily able to interact with each other.

 

 

 
Meantime her cousin came to called both. Both went out with her.

 

 

 
“Lo Ji bachhe b aa gaye. Inse hi puchh lete hai. Hume to ladki pasand hai.” His mother saw and declared her decision.

 

 

 
“Maa wait. First you all decide something for us. I would like to know each other better. Because I don’t want anything should forced on her.” He requests to elders.

 

 

 
“Bhala ye kya baat hui. Shadi k baad puri zindagi padi hai. Jante rehna ek dusre ko.” Her grandmother objects the idea and so his mother.

 

 

 
“I am sorry dadiji. But I want she accepts me after knowing about me. Because after marriage she would left with no choice but to bear a life imposed on her. But if she know me better than she will be able to decide wisely.” He put his point which touched her heart. Not only by looks but he is beautiful from his heart to.

 

 

 
“Mujhe lagta hai Ravi is right. Bachhe ek dusre ko samjh le isme harz hi kya hai.” Her aunt support his thoughts and all agreed some positively and some reluctantly.

 

 

 

He lefts leaving a sweet smile on her face. She is innocent and same she saw in his eyes. Both start talking over phone and start knowing about each other’s schedule and life.

 

 

 
He sometimes teased her but she start liking him so she don’t took in a wrong way. Both agreed after a month for alliance.

 

 

 
Preparation starts in both families. Her cousin not leaving a chance to tease her but these days she liked everything.

 

 

 

Until one day she faints and everything changed. All are waiting outside. Doctor not telling the exact reason. All are worried. Ravi to reach hospital. “What happened chachaji?” He asked in a worried tone.

 

 

 
“Don’t know beta. They are not telling us anything.” He sound anxious.

 

 

 
Her aunt crying badly as she is the one who raised her like her own daughter after her parents demise. “Chachiji please don’t cry. Kuchh nahi hua hai Devika ko. She is fine.” He assured her and wiped off her tears.

 

 

 
Doctor came to them and called in his cabin. His face was stern. “Did she ever complained about pain in abdomen or…? His serious voice scared all of them.

 

 

 

“No doctor. Never.” Her uncle told him.

 

 
“What happened doctor?” Ravi got worried. His hand turned cold.

 

 

 
“Sorry,but it’s my duty to tell you the truth.” He indicate that something bad was waiting for them. “Her one kidney is damaged and second one is also infected. I am shocked how would you never noticed any symptoms.” He revealed and shocked all.

 

 

 

They all are in shock as some stolen land beneath feet. “How this can be possible. No doctor please check your reports again.” All blabbing and denies to accept this unfortunate information he just shared with them.

 

 

 
But damage had done which no one could change. “Now what would we do?” Her uncle asked.

 

 

 
“Only one thing. We need a donor who donate one kidney to her. Person can survive on one kidney.” Doctor told them the solution.

 

 

 
After two days she got discharge. Her all dreams were shattered. she lost her all hopes and courage to. All tried to boost her but no use. Everything seemed dull and dark to her.

 

 

 
He came to meet her. She glance at him. Like always he passed a heart warming smile. Her aunt leave both alone. He sat near her and held her hands. “How you feeling now?” He asked softly but she sheds tears. He to was shattered from inside but don’t show to her. He wiped off her tears and trying to cheer her up. “C’on why you give up. Don’t you heard what doctor said. He said by transplantation you will b fine soon.”

 

 

 
“And what if we don’t found a donor?” She glance in his eyes and share her fear. Fear of losing him which was bigger than her life.

 

 

 
“I won’t let anything happens to you.” He kissed on her forehead and made promise.

 

 

 

“I want to live with you.” She told him and he embrace her.

 

 

One side time was passing and no donor they able to found. Her family ready to donate but because of medical issues doctor rejected all. Her cousin is under 18 and granny to old. Her uncle is heart patient and aunt to had some issues. No one came for help from outside and His mother get impatient. She decided to break the alliance and send msg to the family.

 

 

 
When he came to know about this he get mad on her. Why maa?”

 

 
“Why matlab? Tujhe nahi pata. Are jo ladki chand dino ki mehmaan ho use maine apne ghr nahi lana bas. Baat khatam.” She declared.

 

 

 
“I won’t let anything happened to her maa. Doctor ne mera test kiya hai. Or main use apni ek kidney dunga. After wards she will be fine and live a normal life.” He told his decision.

 

 

 
His mother grew angry and slap him. “Aisa Socha b kaise tune. Tu aisa kuchh nahi karega. Main tujhe aise adha adhoora where nahi dekh sakti. Samjha.” She completely rejected his idea.

 

 

 

Maa maine faisla kar liya hai. I will.” He was adamant.

 

 

 
“Aisa kiya to mera mara muh dekhega.” She trying to blackmail him emotionally.

 

 

 
“Maa don’t be silly.” He argued.

 

 

 
“Haanji ab to maa silly hi lagegi. Par kaan khol k sunn le,ya to wo ya main. Chuuna hoga tujhe aaj or abhi warna….” She glance all around and grab knife from fruit bowl and put on her wrist,just to scare her son.

 

 

 
He was trapped badly. His father signal him to bow down or else she would do anything. He felt helpless. “Fine but agar wo nahi to Koi nahi. Samjh leejiye aap dono.” He was angry on himself and left the home in hurry.

 

 

 

He went to office and was in tension for whole day. He found no way to escape this situation but he was determined for her kidney operations. “Maa kuchh b bole,Devika ko to main bachaunga hi.”

 

.

Whole day passed and he was ready to leave his office but tension not leave his mind. He was lost in his own thoughts when he met with an horrible accident.

 

 

 

 

“What?” All are shocked in her house. She heard noise out of her room and came outside. She scanned all’s faces and got something bad had happened.

 

 

 
Ravi was taken to hospital where he died. Buy before that he donated his both kidneys for her.

 

 

 

His death news gave shocked to her which she don’t able to bear. That shock was so much for her. Her body is already weak and this news trashed her all hopes fully. She fainted and went to sleep mode never to wake up again. Both left the world on same day…
